New feature: Select your preferred units

We recently rolled out automated unit conversions so that all recipes on ckbk are now available with both US Cup and metric measurements.

 
 

We have now added the option to set your preferred units. By default, ckbk shows ingredient measurements as they appeared in the author’s original version, but if you would like to always see measurements converted to your preferred units, just go to the ckbk user settings page where you can now specify which units you would like to see:

 
 

More ways to personalize ckbk

Preferred units are just one of the personalisation options which are available on ckbk. Here is a quick rundown of other options that can be customized:

Email notifications

You can choose to receive a notification email when a new Book, Collection or Feature is added to ckbk. You can also opt-in to receive the ckbk Recipe of the Day by email each morning.

 
 

Appearance

Choose the font size which suits you best, and select between Dark Mode and Light Mode.

 
 

e-Groceries

You can choose which e-Grocery partner links you would like to see: Amazon Fresh, Instacart, or none. Not that which of these e-Grocery services are available depends on your location.

 
 

Smart ovens

Link your oven with Home Connect to send time and temperatures to any of these oven brands:

 
 

Display name

Visit the My Membership page to edit the “display name” which appears next to your recipe reviews.
